Halloween Weekend activities in Michigan

Yum
I'm really looking forward to Halloween this year. Max is so excited to dress up as Michael Jackson, and Xavier has the cutest little bear costume. Friday morning I'm taking Max to trick or treat my office, then in the evening we're heading to Halloween at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad for a train ride and trick or treating with friends. We may be a little 'candied-out' after Friday. We're going to need to detox before Tuesday!

Need some fun ideas for Halloween weekend? Check out what's going on around Southeast Michigan this weekend and the 'rules' for trick or treating in Michigan below....

Halloween at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad - Flint, MI
You can buy tickets for the village ($11) or the village + train ride ($16). I'd highly recommend the train ride if you've never done it before. Ticket to village includes trick or treating, cider and doughnuts, magic show, straw maze and if you opt for it, a 40 minute train ride.

Halloween at Greenfield Village - Dearborn, MI
Taking place October 26-29, from 6-10pm. Tickets are $16 for non-members, $13.75 for members. Event includes:
Trick or treating at treat stations
More Than 1,000 Hand-Carved Pumpkins
Costumed Characters
Dramatic Performances
The Top Hat Sideshow – A Carnival Vaudeville Act!
Hot Brew and Snacks
The Headless Horseman

Halloween Trick or Treating at Tanger Outlets - Howell, MI
Free event for Thursday, Oct 26, from 6-7pm. Trick or treat and get some shopping in too! Participating stores will have Halloween themed decor on their doors.

Michaels Kids Club Vampirina Treat Bag event - Brighton, MI
The second session for this is going on this Saturday, October 28, from 10-12pm. Kids 3+ can enjoy making a treat bag themed around Disney Junior's new series, Vampirina.

Check out Funtober.com to see trick or treating times in your area for the 31st.
